Sam didn't find Pilates early — she found it exactly when she needed it. After years of quiet dreams and two boys later, she stepped onto the mat in her thirties and something just clicked. She's been helping others feel that same shift ever since.
Before Pilates, Sam navigated anxiety through movement — trampoline jumping, long walks along the beach, anything to stay grounded. That personal journey gave her something no certification can teach: a deep understanding of what it feels like to rebuild from the inside out. Today she brings that quiet resilience into every session.

Sam's coaching is centred around one simple idea: quality over quantity. She believes Pilates isn't about perfection — it's about consistent, mindful movement that builds strength, mobility, and confidence over time. Each session is guided by intention and shaped around what the body needs on that particular day. She works with clients of all ages and fitness levels, with a focus on core stability, balance, mobility, and stress management. Whether you're returning from injury, managing chronic tension, or simply wanting to move more freely in everyday life — Sam meets you exactly where you are.

Sam brings 5 years of teaching experience, backed by over 15 years of personal Pilates practice and ongoing professional development. She holds four internationally accredited certifications through Physical IQ, all registered with REPSSA and AFAA.

Her certifications include Certified Personal Trainer, Pilates Instructor, Yoga & Pilates on the Ball, and Pilates-based Postural Training — all accredited through REPSSA and AFAA. She offers one-on-one sessions, couples or small group training, and online coaching to suit different needs, goals, and lifestyles.
One of Sam's clients turns 74 this year. When she first came in, she couldn't bend down, stand from the couch unaided, or safely get herself to and from the floor. Three years later, she stands from a chair without using her hands — and gets back up using only her legs. She tells Sam she'll never stop coming, because she moves the way she did at 20 on the dance floor. Especially when there's a bit of Bruce Springsteen playing. That kind of progress is what Sam shows up for every single day.

Beyond the Studio

When Sam isn't on the Reformer or dreaming up her next class, you'll find her on the beach with her dog — the salty breeze is her happy place. She's equally at home in the mountains, especially when a hike ends at a waterfall. At home, she slows down with painting, puzzles, a good book, and her houseplants (who she considers her other babies). Life doesn't have to be loud to be beautiful. Sam lives that truth every day — and brings it with her into every class.
